Gareth Lewis LLB (UNSW)
Gareth was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in NSW in 1993. Gareth is also a Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 0319248). All migration agents must follow a Code of Conduct, see https://www.mara.gov.au/Code-of-Conduct/Code-of-Conduct/default.aspx.
Before establishing Lewis Law in 2003, Gareth worked as a Senior Associate in a large litigation practice mainly in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury. Through this work Gareth developed excellent negotiation skills and the ability to quickly identify the relevant issues.
Gareth has extensive experience in acting for both corporate and personal clients. Gareth’s work has involved advising and representing clients in most Courts and Tribunals.
Gareth has acted for clients in review applications in the Migration Review Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and the Federal Magistrates Court. Gareth has also acted for clients in the Family Court in matters involving property settlement, parenting/contact and spouse maintenance issues.
