Gareth Lewis LLB (UNSW)

Gareth was admitted to practice as a Solicitor in NSW in 1993. Gareth is also a Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 0319248).

Before establishing Lewis Law in 2003, Gareth worked as a Senior Associate in a large litigation practice mainly in Workers Compensation and Personal Injury. Through this work Gareth developed excellent negotiation skills and the ability to quickly identify the relevant issues.

Gareth has extensive experience in acting for both corporate and personal clients. Gareth’s work has involved advising and representing clients in most Courts and Tribunals.

Gareth has acted for clients in review applications in the Migration Review Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and the Federal Magistrates Court. Gareth has also acted for clients in the Family Court in matters involving property settlement, parenting/contact and spouse maintenance issues.

Yumi Kanzaki
Registered Migration Agent (MARN: 0533831)

Yumi comes from Japan. She speaks Japanese and English. Before coming to Australia, Yumi worked for NEC as an in-house trainer for 6 years. She came to Sydney in 1999 and worked as a student co-ordinator before sitting for and passing her migration agent exam. For the last 3 years Yumi has worked with a Japanese migration consultancy. Yumi is experienced in dealing with all categories of migration. Yumi joined Lewis Law in mid August 2006.

Sharon Khin – para-legal

Sharon works part-time and is in the third year of studying for a law degree at Macquarie University. Sharon speaks English and Burmese.
